Ultra SL 4000 Lubricant

Ultra SL 4000 is a synthetic lubricant designed to provide optimal reliability for rotary screw air compressors. Ultra SL 4000’s unique formulation extends compressor life and increases overall system performance compared to non-Ingersoll Rand lubricants. Lubricant should be changed every 4,000 operating hours under normal operating conditions to help adjust the lubricant to your specific needs.

• Antioxidant properties: Oil-soluble polyethers in synthetic base oils significantly improve oxidative stability and extend shelf life;
• High cleanliness: Oil-soluble polyethers are polar base oils (mineral oil, PAO, etc. are non-polar), which can effectively dissolve polar polymers, have excellent cleaning performance, and effectively inhibit sludge formation;
• Wear resistance: Lubricating additives and polyethers dissolved in the oil complement each other and effectively reduce component wear.
• Thermal conductivity: Oil-soluble polyethers have a high specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity coefficient, which enhances the cooling efficiency of the system.
